Overview[]

Black Company is a paramilitary organization that started as PMC back in the 70's. While not at the height of it's power, it has aspirations to become strong and influental faction.

History[]

Rising power (1970-1990)[]

Black Company started off as a Private Military Company, providing logistics, training as well as armed combat for whoeveer hired them. Company saw action in many conflicts around the world, especially during the last years of Vietnam War as well as during Soviet-Afghan war, where they supplied Mujahideen on US behalf.

However, they also provided support and even directly assisted their contractors in many ''less than moral operations'' such as infamous Operation Condor in Latin America.

End of Cold War(1990)[]

By the end of Cold War, many former contractors started to cut their ties with Black Company, mostly due to nearing end of hostilities between east and west. Many of their facilities were quickly abandoned or sold off to other groups, and soon after the PMC was on the brink of bancruptcy. The only reason why they managed to keep themselves afloat for so long was that several Latin American nations were still willing to hire them to either provide support for their armies, or to do their dirty work for them.

A new beginning(2000-2018)[]

At the beginning of 21st century, the Company was sold to group of unknown inviduals. The new owners quickly led to several large reforms, such as purges within the organization command and administration. They also started to slowly quit the PMC business keeping close relations only with few of their former employers.

In the early 2010's, Black Company started to slowly grow back in power. Several of their old bases were brought back to proper operational shape, and they also started to openly recruit new operators. Their HQ was moved to base located in outskirts of Bogota, Colombia. Several regional facilities in Europe and Africa were also opened, however they lack necessary supplies and manpower to be major strategic locations.
